• Your credit history
• Your ability to repay
• The amount you need

How long do I have to repay my loan?

Loan terms range from 14 days to 6 months.

The exact term depends on your needs and your credit history.

What fees or charges apply to my loan?

Charges vary based on:
• The loan amount you choose
• How long your loan term is
• Your credit history

⚠️ Important:
• All charges are shown clearly before you confirm your application.
• Late payments may lead to extra penalty charges.

Can my loan limit increase over time?

Yes, your limit can go up over time.

⚠️ Important:
Ensure to repay on time.
A good repayment record is the best way to increase your credit limit.

Can I get longer loan terms in the future?

Yes. The more you borrow and repay responsibly, the more term options you'll have in future applications.

Loan Application

How to apply?

What do I need to apply for a loan?

To apply, you need:
• A UAE mobile number
• A valid Emirates ID
• A UAE bank account (IBAN) or a botim wallet

How long does approval take?

Normally, approval takes about 3 minutes.

If your Emirates ID gets stuck in verification, it can take up to 48 working hours for a manual review.

Do I need to pay anything before receiving my loan?

No. We never charge any fees before we send you your loan.

Are there any discounts or promotions available?

Yes! We regularly offer promotions and discount coupons.

Check your SMS messages and in-app notifications. Coupons are applied automatically when you apply.

Where can I see my loan details?

You can see all loan details in two places:
1. Before you confirm your application (we show everything clearly).
2. In the loan history section of the app after approval.

Why was my loan application rejected?

Loan decisions are made automatically by our system based on:
• Your income
• Your credit history
• Your existing debts
• Whether your details could be verified

The decision cannot be changed manually.

─────────────────────────────
Can I apply again?
Yes, you can apply again.

⚠️ Note: applying again very soon, or with a new phone number, may not change the result — the same checks apply.
We suggest waiting a while and improving your financial profile first.

─────────────────────────────
How can I improve my chances?
• Stay in stable employment
• Keep a good repayment record — no late payments
• Don't apply multiple times in a short period
• Make sure your Emirates ID, bank info, and income details are correct
• Try to reduce any existing loan balances

Why was I approved before but rejected this time?

Each application is checked in real time. A past approval does not guarantee future approval.

Your result may change because of:
• A change in your income or job
• New or higher debts
• Your recent repayment history
• Updates to your credit record

Your profile is reviewed fresh every time you apply.

Why did I receive a lower loan amount than expected?

The amount offered is based on your credit profile and repayment history at the time you apply.

To improve your approved amount over time:
• Repay on time
• Borrow responsibly

─────────────────────────────
Why was I recommended botim easy cash?
CashNow and botim easy cash are separate products with different checks.
Even if CashNow couldn't approve your loan, easy cash may still be available to you.
Easy cash is a revolving credit — you can use it multiple times as long as you have balance.

─────────────────────────────
Will accepting a lower amount hurt my credit?
No. Accepting a lower loan amount does not harm your credit.
In fact, repaying on time can build your credit and help you get higher amounts later.

What happens if my Emirates ID is expired?

If your Emirates ID is expired or expiring within 30 days, you will need to upload your new ID when you apply for your next loan.

How do I log in to my telecom provider during the application?

You need to log in to your telecom provider once during your first application.

Here's how:
• Du or Etisalat: enter your phone number + OTP (the code sent to you)
• Virgin: enter your registered email and password

This step improves security and helps us make a more accurate decision on your application.

Why did my Emirates ID verification fail?

Verification can fail due to:
• Blurry or unclear ID photos
• Poor lighting when taking the photo
• An incorrect face scan (liveness check)

How to fix it:
• Take a clear, well-lit photo of your ID
• Remove glasses, hats, or anything covering your face during the face scan

How long does Emirates ID verification take?

In most cases, verification is instant.

However, if your liveness photo doesn't match clearly, it may go to a manual review — this can take up to 48 working hours.

What should I do if my application is stuck or not moving?

Try these steps:
1. Not receiving an OTP? This may be a network issue. Wait a few minutes and try again.
2. Application pending verification? Wait up to 1 hour — the system usually resumes on its own.
3. Still stuck after that? Contact us: help.cashnow@botimfinance.ae

Loan Disbursement

How to receive money?

How will I receive my loan money?

You can receive your loan in two ways:

• botim wallet

You choose your preferred option when you apply. We send the money there once your loan is approved.

How do I find my money in my botim wallet?

1. Download the botim app (if you haven't already).
2. Log in using the same phone number you used for CashNow.
3. Go to the "money" page to see your funds.

What is an IBAN and where do I find mine?

IBAN is your 23-digit UAE bank account number used for transfers.

You can find it in:
• Your bank statement
• Your bank's mobile or online app
• Your account opening documents
• By calling your bank

What happens if I entered the wrong IBAN?

⚠️ Important: if the IBAN is wrong, the money that was sent cannot be recovered.

Please make sure your IBAN is correct before you submit.

If you entered the wrong IBAN, you will need to submit a new loan application with the correct IBAN.

How long does it take to receive my loan?

• botim wallet: money arrives instantly.
• Bank transfer: usually within 24 hours, but can take up to 72 working hours.

⚠️ Delays may happen on weekends and public holidays when banks are not operating.

How much money will I actually receive?

We show you the exact amount before you confirm your application.

Note: the amount you receive may be slightly less than the loan amount because a service charge is deducted first.

Repayment

How to repay my loan?

You have 3 options to make your repayment:

Repay with a debit card

In the CashNow app, please select Repay online, link your debit card, and complete the repayment.

Kindly note: Bank cards starting with 533191 cannot be used for repayment.

Repay through kiosks

In the CashNow app, please select Repay through Kiosks and follow the instructions to top up your botim wallet at a nearby kiosk machine.

Currently supported kiosk brands include: Easypay, MangokiOSK, Ipayforall, MBME, Mulphico, Zenzero, N.T Payments.

After topping up, you can proceed with repayment in the CashNow app using your botim wallet.

Repay through bank transfer

In the CashNow app, please go to Repay through bank transfer, enter the repayment amount, and transfer the funds to your dedicated IBAN. This can be done via:
FAB ATM / Bank counter transfer / Online banking.
We will process your repayment within 1 hour after receiving the transfer.
Note: Any excess repayment will be refunded to your botim wallet account. Please download the botim app, log in with the same phone number used for CashNow, and access the funds in the Money page.

How do I repay my loan?

You can repay in 2 ways: manual repayment and auto-repay.

1. Manual repayment (anytime)

• Debit card
Pay directly using your debit card (Visa / Mastercard).
Note: cards starting with 533191 cannot be used.

• botim wallet
Pay using your botim wallet balance.

• Bank transfer
Select bank transfer on the repayment page and follow the instructions to transfer money to your dedicated IBAN. You can transfer via your banking app, E& money / du pay, or exchange houses.
Your payment will be processed within 1 hour after we receive the funds.

• Pay in cash
Kiosk machine — deposit cash at kiosks to top up your botim wallet, then repay in the app using your wallet balance. Supported kiosk brands include: easypay, mangokiosk, ipayforall, mbme, mulphico, zenzero, n.t payments.
FAB ATM — select pay in cash → FAB ATM on the repayment page and follow the instructions to deposit cash to your dedicated IBAN.

2. Auto-repay

Set it once, and we will pay for you automatically. Whenever you have an active loan, you can turn on auto-repay on the CashNow homepage and link your debit card. We will then deduct the repayment on each due date.

⚠️ Important:
• Make sure your card has enough balance before the due date.
• You can still repay manually even if auto-repay is on — no duplicate charges will occur.

Can I make a partial repayment?

Yes, partial payments are allowed.

⚠️ Important: partial payments do not protect you from late charges or penalties. You must still pay the full amount by the due date to avoid extra fees.

We strongly recommend paying the full amount to stay penalty-free and protect your credit record.

What happens if I miss or delay my payment?

Late payments can lead to:
• Extra fees and penalty charges
• A negative impact on your credit record

If you are struggling to pay, contact us as soon as possible: help.cashnow@botimfinance.ae

Can I repay my loan early?

Yes, you can settle your loan early at any time.

You need to repay the full principal plus all fees (you can check the exact amount in the app).

⚠️ Note: early settlement is only available after at least one-third of your loan term has passed.

Why is my payment not showing as received?

Payment processing times vary by method:
• Debit card: about 1 working day
• Kiosk or bank transfer: 2–3 working days

If you are getting collection calls but you have already paid in the app, you can ignore those calls — your credit history will not be affected.

Please be patient and check again after the processing time.

Can I apply for a new loan right after I repay my current one?

Yes! You can apply for a new loan as soon as your current loan is fully settled.

⚠️ If you paid via kiosk or bank transfer, your settlement needs to be manually confirmed first.
Wait for a notification from us before applying again.

Can I extend my repayment due date?

Yes, you can extend your due date from 3 days before your due date up to 7 days after your due date.

Extension options: 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 days.

To extend:
1. Clear any existing penalty charges (if any).
2. Pay the extension fee for your chosen duration.
3. Your due date will be updated automatically.

What should I do if I can't afford to repay right now?

Please contact our collections team as soon as possible.

⚠️ Not repaying can lead to:
• Late fees and penalty charges
• A negative mark on your credit record
• Further collection actions

Don't wait — reach out early so we can discuss your options.

What is a loan restructure?

Loan restructure is a way to help you if you are having trouble repaying.

It converts your remaining balance into a new loan with a new, more manageable payment plan.

How do I apply for a loan restructure?

If you are eligible, you will see a loan restructure option on your repayment page in the app.

CashNow will also notify you through different channels if you qualify.

Can I restructure or extend a loan that was already restructured?

No. A restructured loan cannot be restructured or extended again.

You must fully repay it by the revised due date.

What is a top up loan?

A top up loan pays off your existing loan and gives you extra money on top.

The extra funds are sent to your botim wallet (for security reasons).

How do I apply for a top up loan?

Top up loans are available to users with a strong repayment record.

If you qualify, you will see a top up loan option on your repayment home screen.

Steps:
1. Tap the top up loan option.
2. Choose your preferred amount.
3. Submit your request.
4. Once approved, the extra funds arrive with a new repayment plan.

What are the fees for a top up loan?

A top up fee applies and is automatically deducted from your new loan.
No processing fee is charged for top up loans.

All fees are clearly displayed on the confirmation page before you submit.

How do I repay a top up loan?

Repayment works the same as any regular loan.

You can repay online or via offline channels. You can also use auto-debit, and if eligible, apply for early settlement, extension, or restructure.

Credit Reporting

About AECB Reporting

What is AECB?

AECB stands for Al Etihad Credit Bureau.

It is a UAE government organisation that collects credit and financial data from banks and financial institutions. It creates credit reports for individuals and companies in the UAE.

What is a credit report?

A credit report is a document from AECB that shows:
• Your personal identity information
• Your current and past loans, credit cards, and other credit facilities
• Your payment history (up to 5 years)
• Any overdue or missed payments
• Any bounced cheques or defaults

This information is provided by banks, finance companies, and telecom companies.

Will my loan information be sent to AECB?

Yes. All your credit records — good or bad — are reported to AECB.

✅ On-time repayments improve your score.
❌ Late payments, missed payments, or defaults are also reported.

Your records are reported under our legal entity: Botim Finance LLC.

For AECB-related questions, email us at aecb.inquiry@botimfinance.ae with your name, EID number, and phone number.

What happens if I have negative records on my AECB report?

Negative records (missed payments, defaults, high debt) can:
1. Make it harder to get loans or credit cards from any UAE bank or lender.
2. Affect your chances when applying for certain jobs.
3. Lead to more aggressive debt collection, including legal action.

The good news: you can recover. Repaying missed payments and settling outstanding loans over time will improve your score.

Can I improve my AECB credit score?

Your AECB score can improve.

Here's how:
• Pay all bills, loans, and credit cards on time
• Reduce your outstanding debt
• Use credit responsibly

Even past missed payments can be offset by consistently good behaviour going forward.

Where can I learn more about AECB?

Visit: www.aecb.gov.ae
Or download the AECB app.

I repaid my loan but it's not showing as settled on my AECB report. Why?

We are required to update AECB records once per month.

Your settlement will be reflected on your report after our next monthly update to AECB.
Thank you for your patience.

Can I change or remove information on my AECB report?

You cannot directly change your credit report.

However, if you believe there is an error:
1. Email your dispute to aecb.inquiry@botimfinance.ae
2. We will investigate and get back to you.
3. If a correction is needed, we will update AECB.

⚠️ Important: only incorrect data can be changed. Accurate negative records (like missed payments) cannot be removed.

I found an error in my AECB credit report. What do I do?

Email your dispute to aecb.inquiry@botimfinance.ae

Include your details and what you believe is incorrect.
We will investigate and, if a correction is needed, submit an update to AECB.
